Fuel Your Soul

I believe we all MUST find something to do in our lives that fuels our soul.

That’s what BMX has been for me for more than half my life. Just typing that is crazy!

17 years now I’ve been on a BMX bike & it’s crazy how much the decision to pursue BMX as a career has taught me, the places around the world it’s brought me to, the people & experiences it’s led me to, & the ability it has to clear my mind & bring a smile to my face.

More importantly, it’s saved my life in more ways than one & is what’s helped me find the ketogenic diet & lifestyle that I believe can be a massively beneficial tool or a new way of living for most of us today as it has been for me & my clients.

It’s not a magic pill as most of us look for these days. I’m not 100% pro-Keto or 100% against other healthy approaches that do work for others.

My priority of adopting such a lifestyle is for the health, protection, & healing of my brain thanks to those fat burning by-products called KETONES. It’s a 100% personal choice.

My story and journey with Keto isn’t a weight loss story, although my body composition has never been better as well as easier to maintain. My journey with Keto represents my belief of health being internal.

Along the way, I’ve become passionate for sharing what’s helped me with others & I continue to do so because I want all of you to become the healthiest, happiest, & most successful versions of yourself.

Eat Fat & Burn Fat

🔥If you want to burn body fat, you gotta eat fat. 😋

We’ve been brain washed to believe fat makes us fat and we NEED carbohydrates to stay alive and fuel our brains and bodies.🙈

🤓The science is in…carbs are not essential for life and fat doesn’t make us fat, in the presence of low insulin levels. High levels of insulin makes us fat, which is a result from eating too many carbohydrates.🤓

In short, insulin is secreted when carbohydrates are consumed. Insulin buffers glucose (blood sugar from breaking down carbs) to cells for energy (or storage as fat) as well as amino acids (protein) for muscle synthesis.💪🏽

When we have chronic high levels of insulin, we are what’s referred to as “sugar burners” and fat-burning comes to a halt.😢

💪🏽Carbs can be a tool if consumed appropriately for our goals. They’re not the enemy. There just needs to be an understanding for the biology behind carbohydrate consumption and clarity around our goals and what it takes to manifest those goals.

🔥If you want to burn fat, you gotta lower insulin levels, eat more fat, and initiate the adaptation process to become fat & keto-adapted.

Following a ketogenic lifestyle is the best way to burn fat efficiently, enjoyably, and it also supports your brain.💚✌️

Quality over Quantity

We have been taught that a calorie is a calorie, doesn’t matter where it comes from. It’s all about “balance”.

The truth is, protein, fat, and carbohydrates interact with our biology completely different from one another. Epigenetic’s, the expression of our genes, is effected by which foods we choose to eat and their quality, amount, and timing.

You can literally turn on health promoting genes or turn off disease promoting genes. You can change the health, function, and make up of your brain. You’re not destined for anything negative or positive. You’re destined to have choices to manifest either what you want or don’t want.

80% of the American population has this reality, so it’s truly important to open your mind to this, educate yourself, and take accountability for your life. 💚✌️
