Persistence is How I Made It Here

Persistence to land a trick has taught me many invaluable lessons in life.

To accept this kind of pain just to land a trick on your bike changes you mentally and subconsciously in such profound ways.

I wasn’t aware of it in the beginning but in my last few years competing and progressing, I started to become conscious to what was going on.

Now I harness it all for my purpose to serve and support those around me and willing to hear what I have to say.

Manifestation > ______

This photo is a manifestation of non-stop action, a belief, clear purpose, authenticity, and open mindedness.

Manifestation – noun: an event, action, or object that clearly shows or embodies something, especially a theory or an abstract idea.

I couldn’t express what this moment means to me as @createdbybrian and I embark on a brand new journey filled with excitement, fear, adventure, gratitude, and much more.

Brian and I met 2 years ago as I aimlessly walked into the gym he was working at seeking a coach to help me properly train for BMX.

Later down the road we began to connect more and more via speaking about Gary V, content creation, purpose, and collaboration of exchanging value.

Sometime after that, I recorded a podcast with @kerwinrae. As I began walking out the door, Kerwin stopped me and said “Josh, somehow and in someway, you have to manifest someone to document your life and help create content”.

I am proud to say that a new partnership (more coming soon) has allowed me to manifest just what Kerwin advised me on and I couldn’t be more stoked to say that Brian is now officially apart of my team.

Brian is beyond talented, he’s authentic, passionate, supportive and encouraging, and he has overcome a ton of adversity in his life to design his life the way he envisions.

This photo means the world to me because I couldn’t be more proud of both of our hard work and dedication to make this a reality.

We’ve both been busting our asses for years and are ready to hustle and grind even harder as we enjoy the journey with nothing but gratitude, clear purpose, and a strong work ethic.

Thank you @brianundy and @ryanplowery for your belief in us.

What are you manifesting in your life?

It Must Be Nice

“For all the times when I was down, well now I’m on my way. For everybody that was doubting, well not I’m on my way. For the ones who ain’t believing, well now I’m on my way. For the ones who question everything, well now I’m on my way.” -@rowlan

It must be nice was a common phrase I used and that I hear all the time. I said this until I stopped making excuses for the lack within my life, took my life into my control, and held myself accountable for the reality in which I lived in on a daily basis.

People don’t just have things pop into their reality out of thin air. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes. I’ve seen success manifest in my BMX career when I put in the work that followed a belief that it was possible. I’ve learned many things from BMX and one was that anything you set your mind to, believe wholeheartedly in, and take action towards without giving up is possible.

It’s only a dream until it happens to you.The difference between those who make dreams their reality and those who say “it must be nice” is taking action, an underlying belief it’s possible, and pushing through when times get tough.

I’ve been there when times were tough many times over my lifetime. Sometimes I gave up and other times I pushed through. Either way, it’s all just a learning opportunity. I call it collecting data.

Shit happens and you can either fall victim to the times you fell or you can be a survivor and push through with the new information at hand.

I choose to push through, no matter how terrible a time may be, and find a way to make my dreams a reality-because, why not?

I know I’ll be better for it coming out and that greatness is on the other side of any hardship in life.

Are you a victim or a survivor?

You Make The Choice

If it were easy then everyone would do it. Do what others won’t today so you can do what others can’t tomorrow. It’s all a matter of perspective, belief, and choice.

You choose what to believe whether it’s the haters or the supporters. You choose your perceptive, glass half full or glass half empty. You choose to take action towards what you want in life.

Your reality is a reflection of your beliefs, perspectives, choices, actions and only yours. No one else’s. Take your reality into your own hands and hold yourself accountable.

Don’t complain about what you don’t have because we all have a choice to act in a manner that’s going to help us succeed in life or help us regress and stay where we’re unhappy. Rather than reacting to what you observe and “know to be true”, focus on the desired outcome and what that reality is like. Speak, think, feel, and act in that energy to help attract that into your life. 💚✌️
