Speak YOUR Truth

I get asked how to make a change or influence others to make changes.

It’s simple.

Share your truth!!

“I WANT THE TRUTH!”

“You can’t handle the truth” haha 😂

Speak your truth. Walk your truth. LIVE your truth!

If you want others to make changes that you’ve made and witnessed successes in your life from doing so, the only way to influence others is by showing them.

“Leading by example” may be an old corny phrase but it’s so true.

We see it in BMX when a new rider does a trick for the first time and it opens everyone’s mind to the possibilities of said trick for themselves because they saw it.

That’s why sharing transformational photos is so powerful. It’s more than words on a piece of paper of screen. It’s an image illustrating the proof of those words.

Same for a presentation and why stories are so powerful. The information is useless unless there’s stories backing said information to give the loving proof of the ideas presented.

I encourage everyone to speak, walk, and live their truths and not worry about others. Only yourself.

We’re not responsible for others and how they feel or act. Only our own actions and feelings.

Make Em & Take Em!

Who wants to burn body fat for fuel while fueling their brains?

Despite following traditional theories of eating less and moving more being the way to burn fat, it’s quite the opposite if within the right context.

The truth is that when we can shift our body to run primarily off of fat for fuel, both dietary and body stores, we can efficiently, effectively, and enjoyably reach our goals with burning body fat.

Burning fat for fuel helps support many benefits to the human body.

🧠 optimizing brain health and performance.

🔥reducing inflammation and glycation (blood sugar damage).

💪🏽reducing the rate of aging (measured via telomeres).

🧬 supports epigenetics (change in gene expression, which “can be up to 70% of our genes” @drandind).

👌🏼 increased sustainable energy without hard crashes.

😎 improvements to body composition.

Keto isn’t a fad once you look into the science behind the underlining mechanisms being targeted to create so many desirable benefits.

The mitochondria are one of, if not THE, most important aspects of the ketogenic diet, or a state of ketosis, that brings on so much profound benfits to our health.

What’s interesting is as you adapt to a state of ketosis, your ketone levels begin to drop due to the body’s tissues soaking up the ketones to use for energy demands.

“It is well established that the cells’ uptake of ketones is proportional to the amount of ketones present in the blood.” Dr.’s Lowery & Wilson, Ketogenic Bible

That’s why #MakeEmTakeEm is so crucial to understand, depending on your goals and where you are with your keto journey. While we can reach deep levels of ketosis with the ketogenic diet, supplementing with exogenous ketones like @justpruvit is a must in order to get numbers up.

@justpruvit makes the only ketone on the market that you can buy, drink, and that is “naturally biologically active” Dr.’s Wilson & Lowery, Ketogenic Bible.

@ryanplowery @zonehalo @themusclephd @drandind @kendberry.md @thomasdelauer are some to learn more from in this department.

1 Choice : 2 paths to choose from.

No matter what the reality may be, 2 things are to note: 1) shit could always be worse and 2) you still have a choice in perspective.

This choice is where the 2 paths come in.

Choose a path of victim mentality – why me, what did I do to deserve this, this always happens, am I a bad person, life’s not fair, etc. etc.

Or, choose a path of survivorship and view every event, no matter how difficult or undesirable it may be, as an opportunity to learn, grow, and move closer to achieving our goals and living the life we desire and deserve.

Both choices take the same amount of energy and effort upfront to make but I argue victim mentality takes more time and energy, and sometime money, in the long run.

The further down the victim route we go, the more deep rooted those neurological firing and connections set it as we think the same thoughts on a regular basis and create the chemical response known as an emotion, and then take similar action to create this experience all over again on a daily basis further cementing us into this undesirable emotional and physical experience.

I encourage the choice of a survivor as it’s worth the energy and effort for the long game. Sacrificing time, energy, money, etc. is always a must in order to achieve more in our lives.

The way we choose to sacrifice things in our life is our choice and is one built on deep rooted subconscious programming.

Sometimes this programming isn’t what we want to fuel how we think and act, but often we don’t know any better or know that there’s an alternative route.

That’s my goal in all I do and share.

Show you all what I’ve learned and implemented, proving we can create the reality we desire despite where we start.

Seeing all the “bad” in your life and the world is a choice because there’s enough “good” happening if we want to find it.

Josh P. 💚🧠✌️

Where Our Focus Goes, Energy Flows

What are you focusing on?

Weather it be “good” or “bad”, what we focus on is what we train our subconscious to be on alert for. It may not be desirable but that focus takes time and energy, and leads to specific action, and this combination keeps us on track for whatever that focus is be it desirable or not.

If we are not happy with where we are in our life, we can focus on the action we take and if they truly align with our desires.

If not, make some changes to the actions so that they align with your desires.

I first became really aware of this concept as a teenager thanks to BMX.

If I want to do a trick for the first time and don’t invest time and energy to practicing that trick, how can I ever expect to do the trick? And if the trick isn’t working, I have to make some changes to my approach in order to get a new result.

Same in other areas of life, these changes take a lot of time and energy to be devoted to manifesting the desire.

It’s not easy but it’s real simple when we take a step back, reach out for support, and really audit our actions.

It sounds cheesy and cliche but it’s so true. The only reason we often don’t create this discipline in our life is because we don’t believe it works.

Once I committed to change and believing in my efforts, I started seeing massive shifts in my life in terms of success, health, happiness, and abundance.

How To Form Partnerships & Obtain Sponsorships

I get asked a lot about “how to get sponsored” as athlete or in other forms.

What I’ve learned over the years with sponsorships or even personal relationships is value is king.

Let’s break down both examples.

1) Sponsorships: I’ve created a partnership with @justpruvit based on our core values aligning 100% and my ability bring the brand and community immense amounts of value. We both believe the same thing but my story, my actions, my desires, and my perspective are the proof of our core values in reality, not just on paper. How I live my life, how I connect with others, and how I bring others value at the same time is an example of what @justpruvit and I stand for. The value they seem in me is the ability to walk, talk, and help grow their message and beliefs around the world. It’s not just about my abilities, it’s more about my integrity and purpose.

2) Personal Relationships: @jciake and I not only enjoy our time with one another and all our similar interests, we also provide each other with endless amounts of mutual value in the terms of support, self-awareness, love and laughter, creativity, adventure, etc. as a loving couple sharing a life together. We don’t look at our relationship as a business transaction, haha, but to easily paint a picture and give an example of “value”, this is kind of how it breaks down when you stop and look at things. Same with @justpruvit, it’s not a business transaction we see. It’s the potential to change lives by combining our energy, perspectives, actions, and voices together to fulfill our purpose.

At the end of the day, if you want something in your life you have to think about what it is you’re willing to do for the things you want. Somethings that means sacrifice.

Sacrifice could be time invested into a biz or personal relationship, less time for yourself to support the one you live, your time creating content for the brand you desire a partnership with, money invested into an idea for a business you may have, energy spent in the gym to get in shape, etc.

VALUE VALUE VALUE is the key to any partnership you desire, in business and personal relationships.

No excuses, just CHOICES

Yes or YES?

I don’t believe in excuses being anything other than a choice.

We all have a choice, no matter what. That choice is perspective.

We can make excuses as to why we can’t live the life we desire and affirm it to be true, therefore live in that truth.

Or, we can shift our perspective to seeing the world differently and finding a way to manifest the life we desire.

It’s not easy but it’s quite simple and my life is a great example of perspective shifts added to the mental and physical sense of action aligned with the desire.

Want something in your life?

Step 1: create the desire in your mind.

Step 2) stop telling yourself the bullshit excuse as to why you can’t when others just like you, and sometimes worse off than you, are doing that very thing you’re telling yourself isn’t possible.

3) develop a routine of positive subconscious programming whether that’s affirmations, meditation, or the content you choice to consume. Either way, make sure the energy and words are uplifting and serving your desire and purpose. What we feed our minds leads to the action we take and manifest our reality, either for or against our desires.

4) take ACTION and be relentless when it comes to perseverance and making it happen. Had I not had this step implemented for my BMX career, I wouldn’t have won a content, wouldn’t have made it to the most elite level of competition, and wouldn’t have started riding again after injuries or brain surgery.

5) build and maintain the belief in yourself despite whatever noise out there saying otherwise. If I can succeed with my goals, anyone can. *self awareness comes in play huge here because I’m not saying if your my height that you’ll be in the NBA or that if you’re terrible at singing that you’ll be the next Aretha Franklin. I’m saying follow your heart, out the work in (physically and mentally), beat the odds, and never give up on what you truly desire and believe is possible for YOU.

Josh P. 🧠💚✌️

Choose Gratitude

What we think, do and feel becomes our personality, which becomes our personal reality.

If we desire more than what’s currently in our life, we must be clear on what we desire, think it’s possible, believe we deserve to acquire it and that we can obtain it.

This thought process will lead to the action required to physical manifest the opportunity to obtain our desires.

This combination, along with subconscious programming/auto suggestion, meditation and visualization will create the chemical reaction known as a feeling.

All of this combined with gratitude to be alive is how we make the “impossible” possible and live out the life we envision and desire.

The only reason we don’t do the mental and physical work daily is because we don’t truly believe it works.

I’m here to share that it does work and the life I live today is proof.

It took time for me to fully adopt this concept it apply it but now that it’s apart of my being, I can’t help but share it with all of you.

Being grateful for what’s currently in your life and that yet to manifest is crucial.

Just START

Best piece of advice I’ve heard and share….just START!

You don’t have to be the best out of the gate.

You don’t have to run before you can walk.

You don’t have to backflip before you can clear the jump.

You don’t have to speak to large crowds before you can speak in front of the mirror.

You don’t have to write the whole book before you write a chapter.

And, you don’t have to crush heavy weight in the gym before you can make a habit of just going on regular walks during the week and doing some body weight exercises.

STOP overanalyzing your goals.

STOP thinking you need to learn more.

STOP thinking you need to go faster.

STOP thinking you can’t.

STOP thinking you need others to start.

STOP believing the bullshit story you and others have told yourself why you can’t when in fact, YOU CAN.

If I can, YOU can. Just start by believing you want it bad enough to do something about it and can in fact do it!

Then take action and don’t give up!

I get asked “what’s the secret to your success” often and there’s no secret. Starts with a desire, faith in that desire being obtainable, a plan, action and figuring out more along the way.

Read “Think & Grow Rich”, “The Power Of I Am and the Law Of Attraction” or “You Are A Badass” and it’ll make more sense.

Josh P. 💚🧠✌️

Action to Manifestation

Who’s taking action that’s aligned with their desires?

Of all the things I’ve been learning over the years, taking action is THE most important piece to manifesting the results you’re looking for in your life.

You can always learn more as you go but I find a ton of people, and I was one of them, are crippled by analysis paralysis.

Our ego, or deep rooted subconscious mind, cripples us into becoming addicted to learning, training programs, etc. in an effort to “know enough” before starting.

Don’t get me wrong, those are very important aspects of manifesting a result but without a detailed action plan and implementation of that plan, education doesn’t matter.

Ever hear “knowledge is power”? It’s not, unless put into action. Same with a talent. If you’re always practicing a talent in private, and want to be known, how can you ever expect to “make it” unless someone sees you?

Don’t be afraid to be seen, accomplish your goals and live your dreams.
