YOU are at cause for your reality.
I’ve said this in the past and have gotten a lot of angry responses and exaggerated examples of terrible things happening in the world.
What I’ve come to learn is that we CAN NOT control the outcomes out of efforts or the events that happen in the world or directly to us.
What we can control is ourselves and our state of being (our thoughts, emotions, and beliefs).
When I say YOU are at cause for your reality, I am saying you are at cause for how you show up in life and respond to the events you experience in your life.
I didn’t ask for a brain tumor but I believe that I didn’t do much to avoid it from occurring.
I have ZERO control over my past or my future but I took accountability for my actions and the reality I was experiencing.
This accountability led me to changing who I was internally and influenced my state of being as well as my choices moving forward.
Although I knew I couldn’t control my health outcome the days to come, I knew the probability for achieving the outcome I wanted was higher if my choices and habits aligned with the desired outcome I held in my mind.
Bottom line, if you don’t enjoy your life, the events that occurred or continue to present themselves, the people in it, the way you feel etc., it’s NOT your fault.
You are not to blame for the life you were born into or the things that happen to you. No matter how bad you feel.
I’ve been in tremendous amounts of pain and suffering to the point I wanted to give up, literally and figuratively speaking, at times and felt like a victim to my experiences and that the world conspiring against me.
When I changed my perspective and how I framed my life and my experiences, I saw that I was in complete control of my being and how I chose to respond.
This level of accountability has become empowering and transformative for me and those that I work with.
Once we believe we are the cause of our problems, we then have to see that we are also the SOLUTION to our problems.
It’s all a matter of choice.
If you choose to take this level of accountability, let’s talk!
