Outdated Software In Your Brain

You can’t get points on the board if you stare at it & don’t play the game.

Far too often we get caught up in the absence of what we want to be true about our lives which affects how we feel about ourselves & who we think we are / what we are capable of accomplishing.

Then we compare ourselves to others & contrast that with where we are & where we want to be.

How do you think this makes us feel?

Frustrated?
Insecure?
Not good enough?
Lazy?
Incapable?
Weak?
Sick?
Depressed?
Anxious?
Embarrassed?

That’s because we’re focusing on that which we don’t want rather than what we DO WANT TO BE TRUE about our lives.

All of our energy is being directed towards what we don’t want & we can’t help but feel the way we think.

This fuels our unconscious mind to leading us further down that path by blinding us to opportunities to lead us where we want rather we stay aware of opportunities to affirm our insecurities (referred to as “self-sabotage, aka emotional baggage).

I call this “outdated software” that’s become a protection program to keep us safe.

See, even though we desire change, whether it be more money, less weight, a better job, a loving relationship, etc., that’s not familiar to the mind & body.

When we begin making changes in the direction of what we want to be true, the body gets uncomfortable & literally sends signals to the brain that tells ourselves we are not capable, not good enough, we’re lazy, or we’ll never change because we’re just like our parents.

This is why change is so difficult & often can push us further into our insecurities as our failed attempts to change solidifies our disbelief in ourself.

I’ve learned a lot about myself & others over the last decade & now I help others rewrite the software that’s running behind their reality.

It’s like trying to run windows95 in 2021, there will most certainly be glitches and errors, which all hold you back from success.

It’s not your fault. It’s just the human brain doing it’s job to protect you.

It doesn’t know better but you deserve better.
