Where Our Focus Goes, Energy Flows

What are you focusing on?

Weather it be “good” or “bad”, what we focus on is what we train our subconscious to be on alert for. It may not be desirable but that focus takes time and energy, and leads to specific action, and this combination keeps us on track for whatever that focus is be it desirable or not.

If we are not happy with where we are in our life, we can focus on the action we take and if they truly align with our desires.

If not, make some changes to the actions so that they align with your desires.

I first became really aware of this concept as a teenager thanks to BMX.

If I want to do a trick for the first time and don’t invest time and energy to practicing that trick, how can I ever expect to do the trick? And if the trick isn’t working, I have to make some changes to my approach in order to get a new result.

Same in other areas of life, these changes take a lot of time and energy to be devoted to manifesting the desire.

It’s not easy but it’s real simple when we take a step back, reach out for support, and really audit our actions.

It sounds cheesy and cliche but it’s so true. The only reason we often don’t create this discipline in our life is because we don’t believe it works.

Once I committed to change and believing in my efforts, I started seeing massive shifts in my life in terms of success, health, happiness, and abundance.

No excuses, just CHOICES

Yes or YES?

I don’t believe in excuses being anything other than a choice.

We all have a choice, no matter what. That choice is perspective.

We can make excuses as to why we can’t live the life we desire and affirm it to be true, therefore live in that truth.

Or, we can shift our perspective to seeing the world differently and finding a way to manifest the life we desire.

It’s not easy but it’s quite simple and my life is a great example of perspective shifts added to the mental and physical sense of action aligned with the desire.

Want something in your life?

Step 1: create the desire in your mind.

Step 2) stop telling yourself the bullshit excuse as to why you can’t when others just like you, and sometimes worse off than you, are doing that very thing you’re telling yourself isn’t possible.

3) develop a routine of positive subconscious programming whether that’s affirmations, meditation, or the content you choice to consume. Either way, make sure the energy and words are uplifting and serving your desire and purpose. What we feed our minds leads to the action we take and manifest our reality, either for or against our desires.

4) take ACTION and be relentless when it comes to perseverance and making it happen. Had I not had this step implemented for my BMX career, I wouldn’t have won a content, wouldn’t have made it to the most elite level of competition, and wouldn’t have started riding again after injuries or brain surgery.

5) build and maintain the belief in yourself despite whatever noise out there saying otherwise. If I can succeed with my goals, anyone can. *self awareness comes in play huge here because I’m not saying if your my height that you’ll be in the NBA or that if you’re terrible at singing that you’ll be the next Aretha Franklin. I’m saying follow your heart, out the work in (physically and mentally), beat the odds, and never give up on what you truly desire and believe is possible for YOU.

You Cut Your Path

You choose your reality, no one else.

How we see the world leads to the cation we take in our lives, which creates our personality.

Our personality creates our personal reality and our reality is just a manifestation of those choices.

My efforts are 2 fold: to prove my support right and honor the loved ones in my life that are no longer here today & to show you all the potential we all foster within us once we believe in ourselves.

That said, no one can stop you from achieving your goals other that yourself and what you put inside that skull of yours.

4 Months Off My BMX Bike & Now I’m BACK

I took off a few months to engage in some brain research with @ryanplowery looking at the effects of @justpruvit exogenous ketones using @doc_amen SPECT imaging.

I also wanted to clear my mind, rest my body, and focus on new endeavors I’m pursuing.

After back and forth internal struggles of wanting to ever ride again or not, I got the itch back and it feels good.

I have a few trips planned to film for @justpruvit and all of you at some amazing spots around the world as well as some crazy content ideas we have in mind to bring you all entertainment while showing you what’s possible when you believe in yourself and find your tribe.

BMX taught me pain endurance

“Pain is just one piece of information.”

I read that quote in Ronda Rousey’s book and it makes so much sense.

The other quote I love is “pain is inevitable, suffering is a choice”.

BMX taught me to endure a massive amount of mental and physical pain in order to accomplish my goals.

That foundation has set the tone for over half my current life and the rest of my life ahead of me.

With a mindset built like what BMX fosters then anything’s possible as long as the desire is strong enough and you’re willing to grind with persistence and faith.

From Broke BMX Athlete to 7-figure Earner

This is my good friend @joshuapmorse.

Josh and I used to ride BMX together. We used to landscape together. We used to party together.

Just stopped riding and built a phone flipping business. He then became the top earner for Verizon making 10-30G’s a month before moving to real estate.

Josh went from being called “dumb Josh” to now having a net worth larger than most will make in a lifetime all while enjoying every day of his life.

Josh drinks @justpruvit ketones as he knows taking care of his brain health means true wealth.

@jciake and I sat Josh down while he was visiting (he moves to Raleigh soon) to share his story and mindset of what it takes to persevere and create true wealth in all areas of his life for The Grey Matters Podcast.

Stay tuned for the drop next week!

Choose Gratitude

What we think, do and feel becomes our personality, which becomes our personal reality.

If we desire more than what’s currently in our life, we must be clear on what we desire, think it’s possible, believe we deserve to acquire it and that we can obtain it.

This thought process will lead to the action required to physical manifest the opportunity to obtain our desires.

This combination, along with subconscious programming/auto suggestion, meditation and visualization will create the chemical reaction known as a feeling.

All of this combined with gratitude to be alive is how we make the “impossible” possible and live out the life we envision and desire.

The only reason we don’t do the mental and physical work daily is because we don’t truly believe it works.

I’m here to share that it does work and the life I live today is proof.

It took time for me to fully adopt this concept it apply it but now that it’s apart of my being, I can’t help but share it with all of you.

Being grateful for what’s currently in your life and that yet to manifest is crucial.

Just START

Best piece of advice I’ve heard and share….just START!

You don’t have to be the best out of the gate.

You don’t have to run before you can walk.

You don’t have to backflip before you can clear the jump.

You don’t have to speak to large crowds before you can speak in front of the mirror.

You don’t have to write the whole book before you write a chapter.

And, you don’t have to crush heavy weight in the gym before you can make a habit of just going on regular walks during the week and doing some body weight exercises.

STOP overanalyzing your goals.

STOP thinking you need to learn more.

STOP thinking you need to go faster.

STOP thinking you can’t.

STOP thinking you need others to start.

STOP believing the bullshit story you and others have told yourself why you can’t when in fact, YOU CAN.

If I can, YOU can. Just start by believing you want it bad enough to do something about it and can in fact do it!

Then take action and don’t give up!

I get asked “what’s the secret to your success” often and there’s no secret. Starts with a desire, faith in that desire being obtainable, a plan, action and figuring out more along the way.

Read “Think & Grow Rich”, “The Power Of I Am and the Law Of Attraction” or “You Are A Badass” and it’ll make more sense.

EyeQ & Ketones

Before and after with @justpruvit pure therapeutic exogenous ketones thanks to @theaspi.

My EyeQ went up 10 points 30 minutes after consuming Keto//OS NAT and I could feel the difference.

The keto conversation transcends weight/fat loss in such profound ways that if that’s all we focus on, we’re just scratching the surface and devaluing the potential for ketones on so many levels.

Weight loss is a byproduct of prioritizing brian health and performance.

They Say A Lot

“They” have told me a lot of things in my life.

I’ve learned that I’m very stubborn and that my stubbornness isn’t always negative and is in fact what’s saved my life many times.

They told me I’d never ride my bike again and that there’s a shit I’d die either way, surgery or no surgery.

I’m grateful to be alive and sharing my TRUTH with the world and appreciate all the “noise” I get in the process of doing so.
