Defined by A Vision Of the Future

Are you defined by your past or a vision for your future?

I struggled with overcoming who I thought I was that was molded by my past identity and personality.

I thought who I am was determined by what I did and experienced.

It wasn’t until I began learning about consciousness and our subconscious minds that I realized I was living my current life based on a past perception of my being.

In doing so, I was creating the same reality and one could predict how my tomorrow would look based on these actions.

When I began to understand this concept on a deeper level, I began to audit my thoughts, actions and emotions that were influencing the creation of my reality today and tomorrow.

It hasn’t been easy but it’s been worth it to let go of the familiar past in an effort to focus my attention and energy on creating my future vision.

The mind is beyond powerful as it triggers the things we say, do and feel, all of which make up who we are in terms of our personality, which creates our personal reality.

By choosing to let go of who we think we were or the identity we’ve clinched onto for the familiarity of the “known”, we can grow the courage to step into the unknown where all the potential possibilities live for our future.

It hasn’t been easy to remove my past identity as I built over half my life based on it, but it’s been an amazing experience to see how much contribution I’ve given to others in the short time I’ve consciously worked on focusing my time, energy and resources to create a new version of myself build upon a future vision I’ve created based on purpose.

Purpose > Giving Up

Never in a million years did I think this was possible.

That I would be speaking to a crowd of hundreds to thousands of people I don’t know.

Especially with my insecurities of being “good enough” to speak on such a stage.

Or, my social anxiety of speaking with strangers and how they may judge me and my life decisions.

Or, thinking “who wants to hear what I have to say? I’m just a high school dropout that pursued BMX as a career option, overcame some challenges along the way, and am trying to find my way in life beyond my past identity as just a BMX athlete living with brain tumors”. That’s the thing about being on PURPOSE, though.

You overcome the mental challenges to pursue the mission at hand while finding yourself in situations you never fathomed being in.

In this case, my mission is to inspire new PERSPECTIVE in others that leads them to making the choice to step into their power of creating the best versions of themselves.

With that said, I find myself speaking around the world, making videos sharing my journey, experiences, passions and my TRUTH, and reaching out to strangers to have a conversation to what value I can provide and what perspectives/insights I can learn.

The last decade of my life has taught me 3 valuable pieces to life that I live by and am passionately sharing as much as I can:

– perspective is essential.

– Health is internal.

– our reality is a manifestation of our choices.

The more I focus on my purpose to serve others, the more the anxiety, fear, and overwhelm disappear but it’s a constant work in progress to do so.

As a former professional athlete and multiple brain tumor survivor, I find myself being incredibly hard on myself and thinking I could be doing more.

I’m learning this perspective is limiting my ability to fulfill my purpose on a archer scale and manifest my goals in an efficient and the least challenging way.

The fact that I get out of bed every day & don’t give up even when I feel as if I’m a failure, I can’t handle the overwhelm & stress, and think “why bother because no one would care either way”, is something to be grateful for.

If you haven’t given up, be grateful & see the value in that.

Pursuing BETTER

No words will do this feeling justice beyond euphoria and gratitude.

I’ve never felt the same emotions since competing other than before, during, and after I step on stage to share my TRUTH with 1,000’s of people.

The energy from a Prüvit event, the love and support from this amazing community, and the atmosphere of the Louisville Palace is incredible.

I’ve only been speaking for about a year now and to have spoken in front of such an amazing audience in a historical and iconic theater blows my mind and I’m incredibly fortunate to have this opportunity to speak in such a venue to such a crowd.

As I stepped on stage and looked at all the amazing humans challenging BETTER for our society, I felt at home. As I looked up into the second level balcony, I took a breath and allowed all the love and gratitude in as I felt more belief in my purpose to empower people to be BETTER and realize their potential in life as soon as they choose to step into it.

I couldn’t be more grateful for Brian Underwood (Prüvit CEO) trusting me to share with his community and to have the opportunity to experience such an amazing time with Brian Guilmette Prüvit and PrüvitNation.

Thank you all for the love Prüvit, thank you to those who’ve ever given me fuel by saying I couldn’t be successful or that I wasn’t good enough, and thank you for whoever read this all the way through.

My top HACK for BETTER in my life is to become as conscious as possible in such a way that we can audit our personality (our thoughts, actions, and emotions) to see how aligned we are with our desires….and drink Prüvit exogenous ketones!

Do You REALLY Want To Win?

Who’s guilty of being salty and jealous of others wins and successes?

This is a subconscious fear of “lack” in our lives when we think this way.

That scarcity mindset and fear mentality is what leads us to feeling jealous of others successes and often times leads to throwing shade their way.

When we’re living in this environment, our brain doesn’t know the difference between what we want and what we currently feel.

That said, lowering your energy to that of jealousy and hate surrounding “success”, even if it’s others, tells our subconscious mind that we don’t like success and don’t believe we can achieve success in whatever area we are focused on.

If we truly were happy of others winning, we’d achieve an elevated state of consciousness and signal our brain in different ways to release chemicals in another form that leads to positive and uplifting feelings and emotions.

These higher levels of emotions tells our brain that the thought of winning or success is good and we should act in a manner to create this feeling.

When we relate success or winning with lower levels of energy, we tell our brian that winning and success is negative and therefore, our subconscious avoids the things we must do in order to create this success and win in our lives.

Gratitude & Progression > Spite & Lack

Don’t get that quote wrong, I live and breath gratitude.

That said, I’m competitive at heart as we all are.

I didn’t make a name for myself in this world by being content.

I strived for more and pushed myself to reach new levels every step of the way.

I was fueled by a lot of spite and anger leading to my success as a professional athlete.

Then, after the first brain tumor diagnosis, my perspective shifted to one of gratitude for my life and all that was in it.

This sense of gratitude led me to wanting even more in my life, which led me on a path of serving others along the way.

What’s the use in my success if others can’t experience their success as well?

At the end of the day, it’s human nature to progress our lives in areas were passionate about.

What this journey up until this moment has taught me is that gratitude leads to abundance in all areas of life.

A simple perspective shift to that of gratitude not only changes our chemical make up, but it also attracts alike vibes from our external environments.

Sounds woohoo and all that but it’s backed by science that we can se and measure, and my life is a clear example of just that.

Gratitude & progression > spite and lack.

Bowling Came First

Before BMX it was bowling and it started 28 years ago.

My dad has been bowling for about 10 years prior to my being born and has been bringing me to the alley since whatever age this is in the photo (1-3?).

The bowling alley that we’ve always gone to opened in the 60’s and its last day was yesterday.

In honor of the memories its allowed us all to have and so many friendships formed, I flew in Saturday morning for the goodbye tournament on Sunday.

To develop an average, since it’s been 15 years since I had one from league bowling, I bowled 3 games Saturday afternoon in rented shoes and a borrowed ball that didn’t fit.

I shot a 176 average going into Sunday’s tournament. I shot a 227 game 1 and 2, 145 game 3, and a 223 game 4 giving me an average of 205 I believe and the second seed into the final 8 after my handicap was factored in.

I was bumped out by a few pins in the first head to head by an OG that was paired up with me. I did bowl a sloppy 154 that game tho, leaving a few open frames.

All in all, I had an amazing time celebrating a facility that did so much for my childhood with amazing people.

That said, I’ve now been inspired to order a ball and some shoes to get back into it now that I’m not competing in BMX anymore.

You’ll be seeing some dope video content from @createdbybrian and myself soon in my new @stormproducts ball and shoes 😎 and some training adaptations in the gym to supplement.

My forearms, shoulders and legs are sore in off places than I’m used to from BMX, haha!

Heart or Fear?

Is your heart running your show or fear?

My mission is to show people the potential for their lives in all aspects once they take ownership of their power and lead with their heart and passion.

I spent far too much time living in fear and not living up to my fullest potential and I don’t believe any one of us had to.

Be honest with yourself. What’s leading your life?

Your heart and passion? Or, fear and logic?

Actions > Theory

The desire and vision are all that matter in the beginning.

No amount of planning or education will get you where you want to go without taking action.

I know so many people that are addicted to learning as they are insecure or their abilities to achieve their desires and scared to take action, so they learn more and work on more complicated plans.

Usually fear of failure and judgment, but I’ve also experienced fear of success thinking “what will people think of me when I accomplish this” or having to go through with even more action each step we reach along the journey.

Wr are also often unclear of our life vision and the belief that our desires are possible to posses.

There’s a ton of background context leading to these false beliefs based on social conditioning, subconscious programming from a young age, and our who stepping in telling us all the reasons not to act in an effort to keep us safe.

Taking action will teach you more about yourself and the reality of the desire and journey to obtain said desire than any amount of education.

Learning without doing is learning theory. I see so many people teaching theory out of fear to act, for whatever reason fear presents itself in their perspectives. How can someone teach a topic or help others device a plan if they have no hands on experience?

I am a big fan of walking my talk and try to never teach something I have no personal experience with, because that’s theory. Just because you understand something and memorized the topic, doesn’t mean you know the application of this topic. Here’s where I have issues with people “walking their talk” as I believe that’s all that matters when teaching others or learning from someone.

A degree doesn’t mean shit to me. Multiple degrees don’t mean shit. Knowing what works and what doesn’t work, based on actual experience and not theory, means the world to me and will always trump words.

Actions > words.

Life experience > education without action.

Truth > theory.

Gratitude > fear.

Purpose > self.

Do you take action or are you a subject of paralysis analysis?

Perspective & NeuroChemicals

Perspective is all it takes to see the truth in this.

Think about this statement for a minute….gratitude is the key to abundance.

If we live with the perspective of “lack”, then we will feel and believe we have lack. If we develop a perspective of gratitude, we feel gratitude.

That’s how our subconscious mind works. It doesn’t decide what’s “good” or “bad”, or what we like and don’t like.

It can’t tell the difference from perceived or reality and with that, it triggers the release of chemicals in our body according to the thought that entered the mind.

These chemicals are addicting and are what lead to our actions.

Those actions bring on an experience, and that experience creates a story and emotion embedded into our brains that triggers the chemical cycle all over again with that action every time.

So if we think in lack and then take actions throughout the day that don’t serve us and our goals, we create this feeling linked to this thought over and over again.

We literally live as our past self and create our past as our future.

How do you think working every day to foster a perspective of gratitude would allow you to change your life?

If you felt a higher vibration of energy, would you be more inclined to act different and make new choices?

Would this “different” version of yourself and new choices being on new feelings, ultimately bringing you closer to the reality you desire?

I have found the answer to be YES.

No matter what we believe in (religion, spirituality, energy, etc.), how can we expect that source that gave us life to give us more of what we want if we’re not grateful for what we have right now?

The key to happiness and success is to feel what that desired outcome may feel like now.

This allows us to act, think and believe in ourselves and goals, ultimately manifesting what we focus our minds in and give energy to.

Make Em & Take Em

#MakeEmTakeEm refers to 2 aspects in my mind:

1) Ketosis

2) Manifestation

1) The ability to create endogenous ketones and supplement with @justpruvit pure therapeutic ketones is important for maximum optimization of our efforts living a ketogenic lifestyle. (Listen to learn why in regards to the adaptation process).

2) The ability to make a choice and take action every day that’s going to serve your desires is key to manifesting our goals and dreams.

I explain the context behind each area from my perspective.
